BOSS-II is a down stream machine can be coupled with hard link-up with the BOSS-I-EAX machine to insert collated strips of tablet/capsule into the carton. It is a fully automatic, compact intermittent motion cartoner operated by compressed air and controlled by PLC system. The machine is built from high precision components having the desired metallurgical and heat treatment characteristics resulting in lower wear and tear, long life and less maintenance.

Working Principle

A carton blank is separated out from magazine, brought to erection station where the carton is erected and taken forward by carton walking beam middle carriage. Rear side flaps get folded with help of rotary actuator. Front side flaps are spread apart, mouthpiece gets entry and product is pushed into the carton with actuation of product pusher/ Front side flaps are fold with the help of rotary actuator. Both end flaps get crimped and tucked in. Final closed carton is delivered on the table.
