WRAPID-350 is designed for wrapping Cigarette Packets and other Products having similar dimensions. It wraps the product in heat sealable cellophane or BOPP.

A tear tape integral with the film makes film removal very convenient.

The machine has twin roll film dispensing system. With quick change over Suction bands together with static charge eliminator ensure continuous and positive film feeding. Application of the state of the art technology using VFD for speed control, PLC, Operator interface for fault display, parameter setting, optical & fiber optic sensing devices, SMPS etc. ensures reliable & consistent repetitive performance. The machine is compatible with latest generation of high-speed cigarette making machines.

The machine is built from high precision components having the desired metallurgical and heat treatment characteristics resulting in low wear and tear, low maintenance and longer life.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

The WRAPID-350 High-Speed Wrapping machine wraps rectangular packets with cellophane/BOPP at speeds up to 350 packets per minute.

Packets are fed to the infeed conveyor through a link-up conveyor.

The infeed pushers deliver them into the turret. The wrapping material is pulled from a reel, cut precisely to the request and is positioned in front of the packet with the help of suction bands, while enroute, a tear tape is attached to the main film.

The packet is delivered into an indexed turret with the wrapping material, where end-folds and long seam heat sealing are done. The packets are then taken into straight bed where the remaining end-folds are made by fix folders and sealed by heaters.

The machine is equipped with two bobbin holders and an automatic splicing unit ensuring non-stop operation of the machine. Defective packets are automatically rejected while good packets are delivered on the delivery conveyor.
