BOSS-I-EAX is a totally automatic machine for pharmaceutical tablet/capsule strip cutting, inspection, counting & collation. Application of the state of the art technology using VFD for speed control, PLC, Operator interface for fault display, parameter setting, optical & fiber optic sensing devices, SMPS etc. ensures reliable & consistent repetitive operation of the machine. The machine is built from high precision components having the desired metallurgical and heat treatment characteristics resulting in low wear and tear, low maintenance and longer life. Working Principle

The machine is fed with continuos web of foiled tablet/capsule coming out of strip sealing machine. The web is held by a pair of pincers, which pull it against the tension of a dancing roller by one strip length every cycle and pass it through slitting knives to slit centrally. Between the successive pulls, the web is inspected for missing tablets and cut to the required length at its leading end. The rejection mechanism automatically drops down the faulty strips while letting good strips to pass on strip conveyor. The cut strips are stacked as per preset number and delivers to stack conveyor.

How does the Machine Function?

• Water Dumping/Elevation Section:- Apples are washed in a bin where water is pumped in from where the apples move through the conveyor belt to the brushing section.

• Brushing, Sponging, and Drying Section:- Apples reach the brushing section which consists of a nylon bristle roller that removes dirt from the surface of the apple. At the sponging section excessive water is absorbed from the outer skin of the apples. Finally, the hot air Dryer section which consists of a PVC roller conveyor completely dries off the apples.
